I recently had the pleasure of attending Artechouse's “Life of a Neuron” exhibit in their NYC location. This exhibit was a collaboration with the Society for Neuroscience and was based on research and data collected about the human brain. Upon walking into the immersive gallery installation, we were greeted with 3D models of a neuron and were able to watch it from birth through the aging process to death. The projections covered all the walls as well as the floor and created a fully immersive experience. There were also some other interactive technologies that helped to demonstrate vision and its neuronal connectivity. Overall, it was a really cool experience and I definitely recommend going. Artechouse has some other locations and exhibits which I hope to check out some time in the future!
