Today two of my friends and I had the chance to visit the Immersive Van Gogh experience in Orlando, FL. In the hallway leading to the gallery, there was a brief history of his past and some example works. Upon entering the gallery, we were greeted with projections surrounding us. The projections showcased many of Van Gogh's paintings, including the most common Starry Night and Sunflowers. His work combined with the sounds and animations they added, created an immersive feel. The show lasted about 20 minutes which was the perfect amount of time to sit, walk around and take in all the different sights of the room. All in all, it was a really cool experience and I hope to attend more things like this.
